An old stone Dalmatian house for sale in an excellent location, in the very heart of the town of Vis (Island

investment for tourism.
It extends over a total of three floors consisting of:

Existing infrastructure (electricity, water, sewage).
The house can be moved into immediately, and minimal investments are required.
The house is located in the city center, so it is close to all important facilities:
pier, waterfront, shops, pharmacy, health center, church, cafe and 150 m from free parking.

The island of Vis belongs to the Adriatic type of Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summers and
mild and wet winters.

Vis has always been a city, and many people do not know that Vis was also a country for a short time. At
the beginning of the 19th century, 12,000 people, who came from all over Europe, lived in it, so in the Vis
language, in addition to derivatives from the Venetian dialect, you can also find words of English, French,
German and even Hungarian roots.

Unlike Hvar or KorĨula, the town of Vis has always been facing the land and open to everything that sails
from it, and its port still provides refuge to many fishermen and sailors, lost explorers and other
adventurers.

That`s how the Syracusan Greeks found the port of Vis to remind them of home. Poets from Hvar built Kut
so that the sun would caress them from the west in winter. Opposite them, the heavyweights from Vis
raised Mola bonda and Mijurovac, so that the sun from the east would wake them up at dawn. After the
English fortified the hills around the bay, the hardworking Austrians built Bataria to finally unite the city
into a whole.

If you take the old road towards Vis in early August, it will remind you of the great city. Its sparkle spreads
from the waterfront like at Christmas, the decorated masts light up the entire bay, all the way to the
outskirts of the city, from where the lantern on the islet of Host flickers in the north.

In the west, the bay of Stonac shines like a suburban settlement, always loaded with fishing boats and
local sailboats, while in the east, the renaissance town of Kut shines. The calm idyll of Kuta meets the
summer bustle of Luke in Gospina Batarija.
